Intel Launches Industry's First AI PC Acceleration Program to Enable AI on Over 100 Million PCs by 2025
Intel has launched the industry's first AI PC Acceleration Program, which aims to enable artificial intelligence on more than 100 million PCs by 2025. The program is designed to connect independent hardware and software vendors to an array of Intel resources, including AI toolchains, co-engineering, hardware, design expertise, technical support, and co-marketing prospects.
The program includes partnerships with over 100 software vendors, including Adobe, Audacity, BlackMagic, BufferZone, CyberLink, DeepRender, Fortemedia, MAGIX, Rewind AI, Skylum, Topaz, VideoCom, Webex, Wondershare Filmora, XSplit, and Zoom. The program will help connect hardware and software vendors with Intel resources to enable developers to take advantage of the Intel Core Ultra technology and its corresponding hardware.
The AI PC Acceleration Program is an extension of the company's AI Accelerator Initiative, which is part of the Intel Partner Alliance. Intel's new neural processing unit (NPU) in its upcoming Core Ultra-branded laptop processors will play a huge role in achieving the goal of enabling AI on more than 100 million PCs by 2025. Intel foresees AI enhancing the computing experiences of end-users across several categories, particularly content creation, gaming performance, security improvements, media streaming quality, and live video collaboration.

GitGuardian unveils “HasMySecretLeaked” to bring leak detection to DevOps pipelines
GitGuardian, a cybersecurity company, has launched a free toolset called "HasMySecretLeaked" to help security and DevOps teams verify if their organization's secrets have leaked on GitHub. The toolset is a private and proprietary database that houses all leaked secrets and their locations in a secure and hashed format. It is available for free and can be accessed via the search bar on the HasMySecretLeaked webpage or the GitGuardian CLI ggshield.
It is also integrated into the GitGuardian Platform in the Secrets Detection module. The toolset is designed to be privacy-safe and secure, and it does not read or access users' secrets. GitGuardian scans every public commit on GitHub for leaks, spanning API keys, database assignments, and developer secrets. In 2020, it uncovered 3 million exposed secrets, surging to 6 million in 2021 and an astounding 10 million in 2022.

Apple Enhances Push Notifications Console for Developers
Apple has introduced new delivery metrics in the Push Notifications Console for developers. The new feature provides developers with a more comprehensive view of their push notification delivery metrics, including an aggregated view of delivery statuses and insights into various statistics for notifications, such as a detailed breakdown based on push type and priority. The console's user-friendly interface allows developers to understand which notifications are performing optimally and which might need improvement. The Push Notifications Console also provides tools for testing and generating authentication keys, and checking the validity and scope of the individual device tokens assigned between an app and a given device. The new metrics feature was introduced at WWDC23 and is now available for notifications sent in production through the Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
